What happened hereਇੱਥੇ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ
The Lahore merchant Bhai Mansukh had told King Shivnabh about his Guru, and the king had long waited for them. When Guru Nanak came, the king, Queen Chandrakala and their son became disciples and set up a dharamsala for night-time hymn-singing. The Puratan Janamsakhi says Guru Ji uttered the Pran Sangli here, a text later judged apocryphal.
On the sourcesਸਰੋਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ
The Encyclopaedia of Sikhism treats a Ceylon visit as part of Guru Nanak's travels. 'Shivnabh' is known only from Janamsakhis, and claims of a 'Nanak Acharya' inscription remain unverified.
